Amends Alabama Code Section 3-1-28 to expand disposal methods for dead animals, allowing owners or custodians to burn, bury at least two feet below ground, or otherwise dispose of animal bodies in accordance with Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries rules within 24 hours of death.

Requires hogs dying from cholera or any other disease to be burned.

Prohibits burning, burying, or disposing of animals sufficiently near residences in a manner that creates a nuisance.

Establishes penalties for violations as a misdemeanor with a fine not to exceed $50.

Becomes effective October 1, 2024.
