Increases the maximum director's fee for board members of municipal gas districts from $1,000 to $1,750 per meeting, not to exceed one meeting per month.

Increases the maximum director's fee for the board chair from $1,250 to $2,000 per meeting, not to exceed one meeting per month.

Applies to gas districts incorporated by two or more municipalities for transmission and distribution of natural gas.

Changes terminology from "chairman" to "chair" throughout the statute.

Becomes effective October 1, 2024.
