Expands eligibility for firefighter distinctive license plates to include fire chaplains who are members of the Alabama Fellowship of Fire Chaplains.

Fire chaplains must provide proof of service through an affidavit signed by the President of the Alabama Fellowship of Fire Chaplains attesting to their good standing membership status.

Fees collected from fire chaplain license plates shall be distributed to the Alabama Fellowship of Fire Chaplains, separate from the existing distribution system for firefighter plate fees.

Makes it a Class C misdemeanor for individuals who falsely obtain or falsely certify someone to obtain a firefighter distinctive license plate.

Becomes effective January 1, 2025.
