Authorizes Calhoun County Commission to levy an annual additional motor vehicle license and registration fee of up to $2 on each new registration, transfer, or renewal beginning January 1, 2025.

Fee must be levied prior to December 1, 2024, and may not be amended or reduced after initial implementation.

License Commissioner collects the $2 fee on each vehicle transaction and distributes proceeds monthly to the county sheriff.

Collected fees must be deposited into the Sheriff's Law Enforcement Fund for law enforcement purposes and cannot replace existing sheriff's office funding sources.

Act becomes effective October 1, 2024.
