Applies only to Baldwin County and becomes effective October 1, 2024.

Transfers duties related to motor vehicle licensing, registration, title processing, ad valorem tax assessment and collection, and license plate issuance from the license inspector and judge of probate to the county revenue commissioner.

Relieves the license inspector and judge of probate of all duties and responsibilities related to motor vehicle licensing, assessment, and collection of ad valorem taxes.

Creates a new classified employee position of License Coordinator within the county revenue commissioner's office, hired by and reporting to the county revenue commissioner.

County revenue commissioner collects the same fees, charges, penalties, and commissions previously paid to license inspectors, tax assessors, tax collectors, or judges of probate, with all collected funds paid into the county general fund; all hiring costs paid from county general fund.
