Amends Section 12-14-113 and adds Section 12-14-115 to the Code of Alabama 1975 regarding municipal court reporting requirements for driving under the influence convictions

Requires all municipal courts to report driving under the influence convictions to the Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency within five days of conviction, effective January 1, 2025

Establishes that municipal courts failing to report DUI convictions within five days shall forfeit all fees and costs collected that would otherwise remain with the court or municipality, with forfeited amounts transferred to the state Comptroller for distribution to the Administrative Office of Courts

Authorizes financial audits of municipal courts failing to submit required data, with audits performed by the Department of Examiners of Public Accounts or an independent certified public accountant selected by the municipality, with audit costs charged as a reasonable fee to the municipality

Becomes effective October 1, 2024
