Amends Section 45-22-234 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to allow Cullman County Sheriff's Office law enforcement officers with 10 or more years of service to receive a retired badge, commission card, and any weapons furnished by the department upon retirement in good standing, without cost.

Changes the provision from limiting retirees to "a pistol" to allowing them to receive "any weapons" furnished by the department.

Applies retroactively to January 1, 1999 upon passage and approval.

Becomes effective on October 1, 2024.

Passed by the House on April 11, 2024 and the Senate on May 2, 2024.
