Authorizes the Jefferson County Sheriff to appoint and deputize reserve deputies to execute Writs of Possession and Writs of Execution when more than 250 writs are issued and unexecuted in the county (emergency writ condition).

Reserve deputies must be certified by the Alabama Peace Officers' Standards and Training Commission, not employed by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, and trained by the sheriff for this specific assignment.

Permits reserve deputies to receive a fee up to $250 per writ executed, paid directly by the property owner with no county treasury funds or sheriff fees involved.

Requires reserve deputies to complete training on legal and proper writ execution procedures before serving writs, with training renewal required at least every three years.

Grants reserve deputies the same immunities and legal protections as other reserve deputies under Alabama law when acting within the scope of their duties and in compliance with law; supersedes Act 592 of 1967 and becomes effective June 1, 2024.
