Amends Alabama Code Sections 34-25-2, 34-25-3, and 34-25-20 relating to the Polygraph Examiners Board and regulation of polygraph devices.

Defines "polygraph device" as an instrument that records visually, permanently, and simultaneously a subject's cardiovascular pattern, respiratory pattern, and galvanic skin response.

Explicitly excludes equipment or devices used for computer voice stress analysis from the definition of a polygraph device.

Requires polygraph examiners to use devices meeting the minimum instrumentation requirements and prohibits use of non-compliant equipment for detecting deception or verifying truthfulness of statements.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage; passed by House on April 16, 2024 and Senate on May 8, 2024.
