Prohibits quarries in Limestone County from conducting blasting operations outside municipal corporate limits within 1.5 miles of any historical building and site as defined in Alabama Code Section 40-8-1.

Exempts quarries that were already in existence on the effective date of the act from the blasting restriction.

Applies only to unincorporated areas of Limestone County outside municipal boundaries.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage.
