Alters and extends the corporate boundary lines of the Town of Shorter in Macon County, Alabama to annex 191.36 acres of additional territory.

Describes the annexed area through detailed surveyed coordinates beginning at the southwest corner of Section 34, Township 17 North, Range 21 East, and bounded by Macon County Road No. 28, Interstate Highway I-85, and Alabama Highway No. 229.

Requires a map of the proposed annexed territory to be filed and available for public inspection in the Office of the Judge of Probate in Macon County, Alabama, in accordance with Alabama Code Section 11-42-6.

Becomes effective on October 1, 2024.
