Prohibits enumerated agencies and governmental entities subject to Alabama Sunset Law of 1981 from purchasing or acquiring real property effective June 1, 2024, with an exemption for the Alabama Historical Commission.

Grandfathers in real property already purchased or in the process of closing on or before June 1, 2024, allowing existing property holdings to remain.

Deletes specific statutory authority for real property acquisition by eight agencies: Alabama Surface Mining Reclamation Commission, Bear Creek Development Authority, Alabama Board of Funeral Services, Home Builders Licensure Board, Alabama State Board of Pharmacy, State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, State Board of Medical Examiners, and Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute.

Allows affected boards to continue selling, conveying, or transferring existing real property and property acquisition funds already established.

Becomes effective June 1, 2024.
