• Amends Act 2017-332 to modify definitions and provisions related to Pike County's sales and use tax for a county jail and judicial complex.

• Expands the definition of "costs" to explicitly include operating and maintaining the jail and judicial complex, in addition to acquisition and construction.

• Redefines the county jail and judicial complex to include E-911 dispatch, emergency management operations, and a criminal justice and public safety center.

• Modifies tax distribution provisions to direct collected taxes to the City of Troy for Troy's expenses and to Pike County for county expenses, beginning October 1, 2030, or when the project is fully paid, whichever occurs sooner.

• Becomes effective October 1, 2024.
