Establishes Limestone County coroner salary at $40,000 per year payable from the county general fund, effective beginning the next term of office, replacing all prior compensation and fees.

Authorizes the coroner to employ assistants subject to county commission approval at $500 per month salary.

Allows the coroner to appoint one or more deputy coroners subject to county commission approval, with salary increased from $75 to $600 per month, to be paid from the county general fund.

Specifies that deputy coroner salary is total compensation and replaces all prior fees, compensation, and allowances.

Repeals Section 45-42-60 of the Code of Alabama 1975 and Act 176 of the 1955 Regular Session, with all provisions effective at the end of the current coroner's term.
