• Eliminates the $500 monthly expense allowance for Marion County Sheriff and replaces it with a total yearly salary of $80,000, effective with the next term of office.

• Eliminates the $5,000 annual compensation for Marion County Revenue Commissioner and replaces it with a total yearly salary of $72,000, effective with the next term of office.

• Establishes a total yearly salary of $60,000 for each Marion County Commission member, eliminating prior expense allowances and other compensation, effective with the next term of office.

• Maintains the $100 monthly expense allowance for the chief deputy sheriff, deputy sheriffs, and sheriff's clerk.

• Becomes effective June 1, 2024.
