Amends Section 17-9-10 of Alabama Code to allow election officials to provide a voter registration update form and permit casting a regular ballot when an elector's current domicile differs from their registration but remains within the same voting precinct.

Allows election officials to direct electors to their correct voting place when their current domicile is in a different precinct but the same county as their registered address.

Permits election officials to inquire about domicile changes based on: elector self-disclosure, identification bearing a different address, or reasonable belief from independent sources that the elector no longer lives in the precinct.

Entitles electors directed to another voting place to cast a provisional ballot at the correct location, which allows them to update their voter registration effective immediately and requires the canvassing board to tabulate these votes.

Becomes effective October 1, 2024.
