Amends Alabama Code sections governing asbestos actions to require plaintiffs to file an attestation within 45 days (reduced from 90 days) providing detailed information about exposure sources, locations, dates, and the exposed person's identity and medical history.

Plaintiffs must identify all available asbestos-containing products, premises, and sources of exposure with specificity, along with the specific connection of each defendant to the alleged exposure.

Allows defendants specifically identified in the plaintiff's attestation to move for court orders requiring supplementation of incomplete information, with the court able to stay the action and dismiss claims without prejudice if the plaintiff fails to comply within 90 days.

Permits plaintiffs to comply with alternative requirements under Section 6-5-693 by filing all available asbestos trust claims and providing trust claim materials within 60 days instead of providing the detailed attestation.

Becomes effective October 1, 2024; passed by House on April 16, 2024 with a vote of 102-1.
