Authorizes virtual schools and programs in Alabama to administer state-required assessments remotely to full-time students beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, subject to funding availability.

Requires assessments be administered on assigned dates/times with video monitoring of students throughout the entire assessment by a designated proctor, with a maximum student-to-proctor ratio of 10:1.

Permits use of two devices if the assessment platform does not support integrated camera proctoring (one for testing, one for video monitoring), but only one device is required if the platform allows the proctor to view both student and background.

Requires all individuals administering assessments or serving as proctors to be teachers holding a valid Alabama professional education certificate.

Exempts public institutions of higher education and college/workforce readiness assessments from national providers until those assessments become available via remote access; act becomes effective January 1, 2025.
