Proposes a constitutional amendment to the Alabama Constitution of 2022 establishing that parents have a fundamental right to direct the upbringing, education, care, and control of their children.

Amendment becomes effective upon ratification and shall be numbered and placed appropriately in the constitution by the Code Commissioner, with allowance for nonsubstantive revisions to formatting, citations, and references.

Election on the proposed amendment shall be held in accordance with Sections 284 and 285 of the Alabama Constitution of 2022 and state election laws.

Election officials shall place the amendment on the ballot with a Yes/No option and a description of the amendment's substance and subject matter.
