• Commends Taiwan for completing successful presidential and legislative elections on January 13, 2024, and recognizes the 45th anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act (TRA).

• Supports the U.S.-Taiwan Initiative on 21st-Century Trade and a U.S.-Taiwan Avoid Double Taxation Agreement to help Taiwanese companies access diverse markets in the U.S.

• Encourages Alabama to establish a trade office in Taiwan, following the example of North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

• Supports Taiwan's meaningful participation in international organizations including WHO, UNFCCC, ICAO, INTERPOL, CPTPP, and IPEF.

• Acknowledges Alabama's 2022 K-12 and higher education cooperation agreement with Taiwan, which established the Taiwan Center of Chinese Language and Culture at Auburn University.
