The Honor Foundation, a nonprofit career transition program for U.S. Special Operations Forces veterans, is recognized for helping approximately 60,000 active duty personnel transition to private sector leadership roles.

The Honor Foundation's Fourth Annual Swim for SOF athletic event is scheduled for September 14, 2024, in San Diego, California, drawing participants to embody the determination of Special Operations Forces.

Retired Navy SEAL Lieutenant Commander Richard Clifford is commended for his 31 years of military service, including combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, for which he received a Bronze Star and two Combat Action Ribbons.

LCDR Clifford, who joined the military in 1986 and retired in 2017, is recognized for his continued support of The Honor Foundation as both a participant and advocate in the Swim for SOF fundraising event.

The Alabama Legislature dedicates this resolution to The Honor Foundation with appreciation for their work supporting United States Special Operations Forces.
