Recognizes and honors the Alabama Holocaust Commission's 2024 State Yom HaShoah Commemoration scheduled for May 7, 2024, to be held at the Alabama Department of Archives and History.

Commemorates the 6,000,000 Jewish men, women, and children who perished in the Holocaust, described as the largest manifestation of hate and intolerance in modern history.

Honors Holocaust survivors who died in the past year and those who remain alive, recognizing their contributions in sharing their stories and raising awareness about Holocaust horrors.

Affirms that commemorative events such as Yom HaShoah are vital to ensuring that Alabamians and the world never forget the significance and horror of the Holocaust.
