• Urges the State of Alabama Personnel Department, in cooperation with the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), to conduct a study of state trooper pay.

• Study must compare state trooper pay to similar positions in other Southeast region states and other law enforcement agencies within Alabama.

• Requires the Personnel Department to provide a report with recommendations to the Legislature prior to the first day of the 2025 Regular Session.
