Legislature commends Madeline Cooper for outstanding community service in her role as Miss University of North Alabama.

Madeline leads the service initiative "Liberty + Learning For All, Civic Education for Alabama's Students" in partnership with the Liberty Learning Foundation, which was founded in 2009 when she was in kindergarten.

Madeline teaches financial literacy lessons in school systems, volunteers at community events, and participates in organizations including the Colbert and Lauderdale County 4H Round-Up, Read Across America, and voter registration efforts.

Madeline is a Sales Associate at James and Alma Clothing Store, Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the University Program Council at UNA, member of Phi Mu Sorority, Baptist Campus Ministries, the Lagrange Society, and has received the Community Service and Involvement Award.

House passed the resolution on April 25, 2024 and the Senate adopted it on May 2, 2024.
