Designates a portion of Alabama State Route 181 from State Route 104 to County Road 32 in Baldwin County as the Representative Joe Faust Highway in honor of his public service.

Representative Faust was born September 13, 1940, in Birmingham, Alabama and has been a Baldwin County resident since 1942.

Served in the National Guard from 1958-1966, including one year during the Berlin Crisis in 1962, and worked as a regional sales manager, supervisor in retail milk business, and insurance broker.

Elected to Baldwin County Commission in 1996 and 2000, serving as Chairman and Vice Chairman, and elected to the Alabama House of Representatives for District 94 in 2002, serving five terms.

Department of Transportation is encouraged to coordinate with local officials to consider designating the highway and erecting appropriate signs or markers consistent with applicable requirements and laws.
