Establishes a Joint Interim Study Commission on Local and County Victim Notification to address the lack of state funding for a universal victim notification system for county and local offenders.

Commission membership includes 13 members: victim advocacy representative, legislative leadership (House Speaker, Senate President Pro Tempore, minority leaders), budget committee chairs, Finance Director, Attorney General appointee, and representatives from law enforcement and county organizations.

First meeting must be held within 60 days of passage, at which the commission shall elect a chair and vice chair; commission may meet as necessary to conduct business.

Legislative members receive standard compensation, per diem, and travel expenses; nonlegislative members serve without compensation but may receive expense reimbursement.

Commission must submit a report of findings to the Governor and legislative leadership by the third legislative day of the 2025 Regular Session, at which point the commission dissolves.
