Designates the portion of U.S. Route 72 between mile markers 100.648 and 101.648 in Huntsville, Alabama as the Agent Billy Clardy III Memorial Mile to honor the fallen law enforcement officer.

Agent Billy Clardy III was killed on December 6, 2019, while working as a drug agent with the Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Gulf Coast Drug Task Force (STAC Team).

Clardy served with the Huntsville Police Department starting in 2005, including roles as a Community Relations Officer and member of the Anti-Crime Team.

Directs the Department of Transportation to coordinate with local governing officials to erect appropriate signs or markers recognizing the designation, consistent with applicable laws and requirements.

Passed by the House on February 22, 2024, and adopted by the Senate on March 19, 2024.
