Honors Mr. Hollis Isbell of Colbert County, Alabama for induction into the 2024 Auburn University College of Agriculture Hall of Honor in the Production Category.

Recognizes Isbell as a third-generation row-crop farmer and innovator who pioneered irrigation use on row crops and was integral in establishing the Spring Valley Gin.

Credits Isbell with earning the Cotton Achievement Award in 2002 from Cotton Grower Magazine and leading the boll weevil eradication program expansion across Alabama, described as the most significant biological advancement in Alabama agriculture in the past century.

Acknowledges Isbell's leadership roles including Chairman of American Cotton Producers of the National Cotton Council (2001), President of Southern Cotton Growers, and various other agricultural and church positions.

Legislature commends Isbell as a distinguished man of unwavering integrity and offers congratulations for his Hall of Honor induction.
