McGill-Toolen Catholic High School's volleyball team is congratulated for winning the 2023 Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 7A State Championship, their second consecutive state title and 23rd overall since volleyball became a championship sport in 1971.

The team lost only one match during the season, a 2-1 decision to Mountain Brook in the Margaret Blalock regular-season tournament, and did not lose another set to in-state competition for the remainder of the year.

The championship team roster includes 14 players: Laura Boykin, Chelsea Daffin, Mamie Fromdahl, Juliet Galla, Tierra Martin, Emma Moore, Grace George, Paris McQuirter, Alyssa Coleman, Jaedyn Lang, Payton McClarren, Catherine McClain, Caitlin Miller, and Alice Wood.

All-Tournament Team players recognized are Julia Galla, Emma Moore, Pam McQuirter (MVP), and Chelsea Daffin.

Head Coach Kate Wood is in her tenth season and has led the Dirty Dozen to four 7A State Championships, four 7A Final Four appearances, and four 7A Final appearances, with assistant coaches Laura Johnson and Samantha Nichols providing support.
