• Commends Mrs. Mollie MacLeroy Bearden for being honored by the Willie and Betty Farrior Family Foundation for her outstanding service to the Talladega community and State of Alabama.

• Founded the Cheaha Family Support Council in 1994 as a support group for individuals and families with developmental disabilities, serving Talladega, Coosa, Clay, and Randolph Counties.

• Volunteers with United Way, Build a Bridge Food Pantry in Vincent, Grasmere Community Center, and serves as a Board member of the Alabama Deaf Blind Multiple Association.
