Commends Melvin Vines of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama for 40 years of service to county employees and residents.

Recognizes his employment as Personnel Director starting April 2, 1984, and subsequent appointment as County Administrator on January 16, 2008.

Acknowledges his 25 years of military service as a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserves and work with the Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve.

Notes his appointment to the Heritage Commission in September 2004 through September 2020, and recognition as the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse Historian.

Dedicates the resolution to Vines in gratitude for his integrity, expertise, and dedication to Tuscaloosa County and its community.
