Honors Malcolm Thomas for 45 years of continuous service as Board of Trustees chairman at Phillips Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Huntsville, Alabama.

Recognizes his leadership of a 2017 church relocation project that included selling the Davis Circle property, purchasing new land, and constructing a new facility consecrated in 2023.

Acknowledges his establishment of lasting church practices including Trustee Day, Annual Christmas Fellowship, church clean-up days, and outreach ministries supporting homeless individuals.

Commends his service to the Huntsville community through roles with the Huntsville Housing Authority Board of Appeals, North Alabama Sickle Cell Board of Directors, R.E. Nelms Elks Lodge No. 977 (as Exalted Ruler 1983-2008 and 2009-2019), and Alabama A&M University Foundation.
