Commends the Ider High School Lady Hornets varsity basketball team for winning the 2024 AHSAA Class 2A Basketball Championship on March 1, 2024, at the BJCC Legacy Arena.

Recognizes the championship victory over defending state champion and top-ranked Mars Hill Bible School with a final score of 64-58, marking the program's first state title since 1985.

Honors standout players Makinley Traylor (Most Valuable Player with 22 points and 5 assists), Kennzie Smith (14 points), Cambree Chapman (11 points), Aubree Chapman (8 points), Addisyn Heard (7 points), and KK Wilborn (2 points).

Acknowledges Head Coach Jamie Pruett and assistant coaches Roger Pruett and Morgan McKenzie for their leadership and development of superior play and sportsmanship.

Recognizes all 16 team members and dedicates the resolution to the Ider Girls Basketball Team and coaching staff with best wishes for continued success.
