Commends Thomas Gary Ward for his accomplishments at the United States Military Academy at West Point and his recognition in the Congressional Record on March 20, 2024, by Congressman Robert B. Aderholt.

Ward was elected Class President of a class of 1,200 cadets at West Point, beginning in July 2020 after being nominated by Congressman Aderholt, and is a leader on West Point's premier military skills team.

Ward will graduate with a degree in political science and be commissioned as an infantry officer with the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson, Colorado.

Recognizes Ward's leadership in public policy, problem-solving, and outreach programs that teach high school and college students about character and ethics in leadership.

Ward is currently touring schools in the 4th Congressional District to encourage students to strive for excellence and provide hope and kindness to counter pessimism in the nation.
