Honors 13 gold medal winners from Kevin Dukes Career and Innovation Academy (KDCIA) who competed at the Annual SkillsUSA Conference in Mobile on April 22-24, 2024.

Recognizes two team gold medal winners: Automated Manufacturing Team (Daniel Olinger, Madison Short, Landon Murphy) and Chapter Display Team (Brilyn Davidson, Lily McBryar, Josiah Kelsey).

Commends eight individual gold medalists: Julia Wilson (Action Skills), Gracie Wade (CNC 3 Axis), Isaac Avans (CNC 5 Axis), Wyatt Cook (CNC Programmer), Matthew Venable (Diesel Equipment), Tesslynne Roote (Health Occupations Professional Portfolio), and Zoey Holder (Welding Beginner).

Notes the students will represent Alabama at the National SkillsUSA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, from June 24-28, 2024.

Recognizes that participating students are academically ranked at the top of their class, have earned industry credentials, and are enrolled in dual CTE and academic courses.
