Honors five Gold Medal winners from Dekalb County Technology Center who competed at the Annual SkillsUSA Conference held April 22-24, 2024, in Mobile: Crimson Ward (masonry), Jacob Atchley (collision repair technology), Anna Massey (medical math), Samineyen Blount (basic health care skills), and John David Vargas (welding).

Recognizes that these students will represent Alabama at the National SkillsUSA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, June 24-28, 2024.

Notes that the award-winning students are academically top-ranked, have earned industry credentials, and are enrolled in dual enrollment CTE courses.

Directs the Alabama House of Representatives to commend these five students for their achievements and extend best wishes for their future success.
