Mourns the death of Lillian D. Slay of LaFayette, Alabama, who died on April 27, 2024, at age 95.

Recognizes her lifetime of service to her family farm in Chambers County, known throughout the state for producing tomatoes, and her work caring for her husband Prather and five children.

Honors her active involvement with the Farmers Federation Women's Committee as President and her role in distributing 13 Book Barns throughout Chambers County to promote agriculture-related literature.

Acknowledges her membership in the Hamburg/Five Points Homemakers' Club and Chapel Hill Methodist Church, and her 70-year marriage to her husband Prather.

Extends sympathy to her surviving family, including 5 children, 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
