Charlie Henry Foster, Jr., age 86, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on February 11, 2024.

Served 47 years as a federal employee at Maxwell Air Force Base, rising to Chief of Acquisition Services within the 42nd Contracting Squadron before retiring January 2, 2010.

Earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1977 and Master of Personnel Management in 1979 from Troy State University's Montgomery Campus, and received the Secretary of the Air Force Award for Professionalism in Contracting.

Was a devoted member of Spring Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, serving as Chairman of the Deacon Board, Sunday School Superintendent, and Bible Training Director.

Survived by his wife of 61 years Hannah Elizabeth Foster, five children, 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and extended family.
