Designates Tuesday, February 27, 2024, as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Day at the Alabama Capitol.

Recognizes Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, founded January 15, 1908, at Howard University as the first intercollegiate historically African American sorority with over 350,000 members in 1,024 chapters.

Honors Omicron Omega Chapter, chartered October 24, 1924, in Birmingham as the 15th chapter and first graduate chapter in the Southeastern Region, whose eight charter members were the first African American sorority members in Alabama.

Acknowledges Omicron Omega Chapter's philanthropic contributions including over $1.5 million in charitable donations, over $500,000 in college scholarships, and establishment of five undergraduate chapters in the Birmingham area.

Recognizes the 2001 creation of the Cultural and Educational Advancement Foundation and 2022 opening of The Pearl Center, a $1.6 million facility in the Bush Hills neighborhood dedicated to community charitable endeavors.
