Congratulates Mountain Brook High School Varsity Wrestling Team for winning the 2024 AHSAA Class 6A Wrestling Duals State Championship and Traditional State Championship.

Team won its first-ever Traditional State Championship in Huntsville with 13 qualifiers and 9 student athletes placing, including 5 finalists.

Historic season included second Duals State Championship and first sectional win in program history, bringing the school's total state titles to 192.

Head Coach Justin Ransom and assistant coaches Andrew Scofield, Will Davis, Rustem Kilic, and Joe Webb led the team under their guidance.

13 wrestlers qualified for the Traditional State Championship Tournament: Wyatt Chavez, Bobby Rutkoff, Stephen Springfield, Davis Smith, Chris Brown, Bill Bradford, Robert Richey, Jude Smith, Stuart Andrews, Ham Mandell, Carter Colvin, Sam Carroll, and Daniel Ellis.
