Exempts air ambulance services from State Health Planning and Development Agency (SHPDA) jurisdiction and certificate of need requirements.

Prohibits SHPDA from requiring air ambulance providers to obtain a certificate of need as a condition to operate new institutional health services.

Defines "air ambulance" as either fixed wing or rotary wing aircraft that provides medically necessary services or supplies by air.

Effective date is October 1, 2024.
