Amends Section 40-18-374 of the Alabama Code to allow recapture of jobs act incentives if an incentivized company or related company engages in human trafficking violations or violates federal child labor provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938.

Requires project agreements between the Governor and incentivized companies to include provisions governing recapture of all or part of jobs act incentives awarded if the company violates human trafficking laws under Sections 13A-6-152 and 13A-6-153 or federal child labor provisions of 29 U.S.C. § 203.

Maintains existing project agreement requirements including company name, project location, capital investment amounts, employee numbers, anticipated wages, incentive period lengths, and other terms deemed necessary by the Governor or parties.

Bill passed the Senate on April 16, 2024 with a vote of 29-0 with no amendments.

Effective date is October 1, 2024.
