Increases director's fee for board members of municipal gas districts from $1,000 to $1,750 per meeting attended, limited to one meeting per calendar month.

Increases director's fee for the board chair from $1,250 to $2,000 per meeting attended, limited to one meeting per calendar month.

Board members continue to serve without base compensation but receive reimbursement for actual expenses and the discretionary meeting fees.

Amends Section 11-50-393 of the Code of Alabama 1975 governing municipal gas district boards consisting of at least one member per member municipality.

Becomes effective October 1, 2024.
