Amends Section 3-1-28 of the Alabama Code to clarify methods for disposing of dead animals within 24 hours: burning, burying at least two feet below ground surface, or disposing in accordance with Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries rules.

Adds requirement that disposal methods comply with Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries rules as an additional option beyond burning or burying.

Removes specific requirement that hogs dying from cholera or disease must be burned, consolidating all animals under the general disposal methods.

Maintains prohibition on burning, burying, or disposing of animals near residences in a manner that creates a nuisance.

Preserves penalty for violations as a misdemeanor with fine not exceeding $50, effective October 1, 2024.
