• Creates a "compact privilege" allowing licensed dietitians from member states to practice in other member states without obtaining separate state licenses, while preserving each state's regulatory authority.

• Establishes the Dietitian Licensure Compact Commission with one delegate per member state to oversee implementation, adopt rules, manage a coordinated data system, and enforce compliance.

• Requires applicants for compact privilege to hold valid registration as a registered dietitian, complete specified education and practice experience, pass credentialing examinations, and meet any jurisprudence requirements of the remote state.

• Becomes effective October 1, 2024; compact takes effect when seventh state enacts the legislation.
