AL SB244

Amends Section 34-24-50.1 of the Alabama Code to add a new definition of "expedited license" in the medical licensure statutes.

Defines "expedited license" as a license to practice medicine, certificate of qualification, certification of eligibility for a license to practice medicine, or certification of eligibility for a certificate of qualification that is issued in an accelerated manner.

Renumbers existing definitions in the statute, shifting "legend drug" from subsection (3) to (4), "licensed to practice medicine" from (4) to (5), and "physician" from (5) to (6).

Becomes effective on June 1, 2024.
