Amends Section 34-21-98 of the Alabama Code to correct an erroneous reference in the Alabama Loan Repayment Program for Advanced Practice Nursing.

Changes the term "nurse educator" to "advanced practice nurse" throughout the statute to accurately reflect the program's intent.

Participants who default on loan repayment contracts remain liable for immediate repayment of principal plus interest at 8 percent or the prime lending rate, whichever is greater.

Participants who default after graduation must pay an additional penalty equal to 20 percent of the total principal amount of all loans received.

Act becomes effective immediately upon passage.
