• Maintains existing weight limits for Interstate Highway System vehicles (20,000 pounds per axle, 34,000 pounds tandem axle, 80,000 pounds gross) and provides exceptions for auxiliary power units, natural gas vehicles, and agricultural vehicles.

• Takes effect October 1, 2024, and makes nonsubstantive technical revisions to update code language and hierarchy to current style.
