Adds Lake Martin (waters impounded by Martin Dam) to existing regulations governing wakeboarding and wakesurfing on Lewis Smith Lake, Lake Wedowee, and Shoal Creek in Lauderdale County north of Highway 72.

Prohibits wakeboarding and wakesurfing within 200 feet of any shoreline, dock, pier, boathouse, or other structure, between sunset and sunrise, on water portions less than 400 feet wide, and without Coast Guard-approved personal flotation devices.

Prohibits operating a motorboat above idle speed within 100 feet of any shoreline, dock, pier, boathouse, or other structure on all applicable waters including Lake Martin.

Establishes penalties of minimum $100 fine for first violation and minimum $200 fine for second or subsequent violations in a calendar year, with possible suspension of boater safety certification or vessel operating privileges.

Provides one-year grace period starting October 1, 2024 for idle speed violations, during which first violations result in written warning and second violations are treated as first violations.
