Establishes a flat fee of $6.50 for copies of electronically stored medical records, inclusive of all labor, supplies, and postage, with no per-page fees allowed.

Maintains per-page fees for paper medical records at $1 per page for the first 25 pages and $.50 per page for pages in excess of 25 pages when paper copies are requested.

Eliminates the $5 search fee previously charged for medical record copies.

Requires the same fees regardless of whether the requesting party is obtaining their own records or acting on behalf of another individual.

Becomes effective October 1, 2024.
